About The Opportunity
Responsible for pricing of goods and services to keep Menasha Packaging competitive in the market. Conducts market research and makes recommendations regarding pricing policies. Maintains historical pricing data on the organization and its competitors.- Calculates and analyzes cost estimates to develop pricing models for new and repeat business opportunities
- Assigns new pricing in alignment with defined customer strategies including the use of customer specific rate cards
- Demonstrates knowledge of Menasha’s products and capabilities to align with customer’s products and objectives
- Develops pricing strategies to support requests for proposals working closely with key stakeholders to maximize profitability and meet customer’s requirements
- Works closely with Commercial Finance around analysis of planned versus actual performance and profitability for assigned business segments
- Interacts with key stakeholders to resolve internal costing or customer pricing discrepancies
- Supports continuous improvement initiatives
- Prepares and reviews required business reports
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience required
- Knowledge of and ability to use and influence organization's policies, standards, and procedures to drive efficiencies through the end-to-end process
- Proficient in using pricing tools, data analytics, SAP, and MS Excel
- Understanding of SAP costing and estimating procedures
- Knowledge of the day-to-day operations of a manufacturing plant or facility
- Primarily works in an office environment with occasional time spent in a production and/or warehouse setting
- Position may be based at Menasha Packaging site or customer location
- Occasional travel required
