Pricing Analyst

The position
We are seeking a commercial Pricing Analyst to join our Pricing & Contract Excellence team in HBK and play a pivotal role in supporting our pricing journey with data-driven insights.

The position is based in HBK’s office in Maia (Porto, Portugal), while reporting to our Copenhagen Pricing Head Office.

Primary responsibilities
As a Pricing Analyst, you will take on a role that offers a challenging, but rewarding day-to-day set of responsibilities. In this position, you can expect to:
Drive data optimization in our coming pricing software with the aim of full integration with other IT platforms (SAP and Salesforce).
Conduct monthly and ad-hoc analysis that will feed reports to managers and executives regarding pricing, discount performance, insights and KPI tracking.
Utilize our discount evaluation tool to review quotations daily, providing valuable price optimization suggestions to our Sales organization.
Maintain and execute operational pricing in SAP and collaborate with Sales to improve margins on contract pricing.
Develop and maintain pricing models and strategies to optimize revenue and profitability using our multiple data insight platforms.
Collaborate with multiple corporate functions, including Sales, Product Management, IT, Business Intelligence, and Finance.
Professional qualifications
You hold a Bachelor or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Data Science or similar
2-4 years’ work experience, with general business acumen and understanding of B2B companies gained from either an internal role or working with B2B clients
Proven track record of using data to drive commercial change (e.g. revenue growth, improved margins, higher market share etc.)
Strong technical skills, with proficiency in Excel, Python, Power BI, and Power Apps.
Experience with SAP S/4HANA and SAP Analytics Cloud is an advantage.
Comfortable working with large data sets and numbers, which excites you rather than intimidates you.
Personal skills
Motivated by deriving new insights from data and communicating those insights through tangible solutions.
Collaborative spirit and a great ability to thrive in a cross functional environment.
Comfortable in tackling both quick, tactical analyses and more strategic topics.
Fluent in English – written and verbal and - with the ability to influence and collaborate.
