Job Summary:

The Pricing Analyst will balance a mix of in-depth analysis and strategic price execution. Focused on providing Merchant Partners and Senior Leadership with key insights and impacts to strategic pricing decisions and business needs. Partnering with a team of analysts to support strategic objectives that support business objectives and provides value to the organization.

Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Collaborate with merchant teams, establishing positive business relationships and being a point of contact within assigned categories
• Analyze competitor pricing strategies and provide data-driven recommendations
• Educate and influence merchants to improve understanding/reliance on advanced analytics in making pricing decisions with support from team
• Collaborate with team members and across departments to solve pricing and analytical requests
• Maintain knowledge of industry retail pricing
• Provide financial impacts of aligned upon pricing actions
• Support/lead specific projects or analyses to support team and company objectives

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 1-3 years of relative experience
• Knowledge of retail operations and pricing strategies
• Analytically minded with strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and competing needs
• Excellent Excel & PowerPoint skills
• SQL / Alteryx / Tableau skills a plus
• Familiarity with SAP a plus

This is a hybrid role. Tuesday through Thursday are in-office days at BJ's Club Support Center in Marlborough, MA and Monday and Friday are remote days.

In accordance with the Pay Transparency requirements, the following represents a good faith estimate of the compensation range for this position. At BJ’s Wholesale Club, we carefully consider a wide range of non-discriminatory factors when determining salary. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, education, experience, and qualifications. The pay range for this position is starting from $59,000.00.
