Description

Jasco is looking for a Pricing Analyst to be a key member of the organization focusing on maintaining/increasing Jasco's profit margins. The Pricing Analyst is responsible for all aspects of the gross profit analysis (GPA) process from initial setup through completion and approval documentation. Providing valuable insight to the financial viability of pricing/program proposals, the Pricing Analyst offers critical recommendations and guidance to the sales team on key pricing decisions.

• The ideal candidate will have an analytical mindset with an inquisitive approach to pricing.
• Must be a problem-solver and willing to work with complex, limited, or incomplete data.
• Must be able to offer creative solutions to pricing proposals while building strong working relationships and providing world-class customer service to internal and external customers.
• Exhibits exceptional analytical and computer skills, with emphasis in Excel
• Applies knowledge of key financial indicators to make sound business decisions
• Acts with a sense of urgency and enthusiasm
• Works under pressure and with a sense of resilience to overcome setbacks and criticism
• Takes action and initiative without direction and proactively seeks out new responsibilities
• Identifies potential issues and offers guidance to resolution
• Exhibits superior interpersonal skills when interacting with sales, sales services, product management, and all other areas within Jasco
• Stays informed on pricing strategies and market trends
• Understands pricing models and financial calculations
• Self-starter who is motivated to pursue further education and knowledge of pricing best practices

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting or Finance or 2-3 years equivalent experience in pricing, corporate accounting or financial analysis.
• Advanced level of Excel is required.
• Superior interpersonal and communication skills for interaction with customers, sales, product management, customer support and finance.
• Results oriented and aggressive on meeting commitments and deadlines.
• Must have demonstrated decision-making ability and superior organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
