Job Description
As a Pricing Analyst, this role will be at the forefront of our efforts to maximize revenue and capture new business through the strategic analysis of pricing data and preparation of proposal pricing in response to customer requirements.
Job Profile Tasks/Responsibilities:
Lead low to medium complexity pricing assignments.
Analyze Data: Collect, analyze, and interpret large, complex datasets on market trends, competitor pricing, customer demand, and internal costs (e.g., material, production, advertising). Review and interpret Government Request For Proposals (RFPs) as well as Commercial opportunities for cost/price volume requirements and ensures the final product complies with their instructions.
Develop Models: Build and maintain pricing models and tools (e.g., pricing templates, economic trends, financial models) to support data-driven pricing decisions and forecast the impact of pricing changes on revenue and profitability. Review/build pricing solutions using technical bases of estimates (BOEs) and incorporating appropriate cost information in accordance with the organization’s forward pricing rate agreements/recommendations (FPRAs/FPRRs) and other applicable costing data.
Strategic Recommendation: Evaluate and recommend price adjustments, opportunity identification, and discount programs to senior management and stakeholders based on comprehensive analysis. Review, develop, and present comprehensive price strategy decision decks to leadership and other intra-organizational stakeholders for their feedback, review, and approval.
Collaborate: Partner closely with business development, finance, and project teams to ensure pricing strategies align with overall business objectives and support sales negotiations. Performs fact-finding with cross-functional proposal teams to ensure that all attributable cost elements associated with a solution are accounted for in the pricing solution.
Ensure Accuracy: Administer and audit pricing information in spreadsheets to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with established policies and procedures. Reviews cost/price volumes to ensure they adhere to RFP requirements, the organization’s estimating system, and applicable U.S. Government procurement regulations [e.g., Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)]. Reviews and develops cost/price volumes outlining the organizational process for estimating costs and the corresponding methodology/rationale for the proposed cost elements.

Job Profile Minimum Qualifications:
Typically requires a bachelor's degree. The skills required for this role are typically demonstrated by 5 plus years of relevant experience.
Manages priorities in an efficient manner while tasked with multiple proposal activities concurrently.
Strong working knowledge of cost/price proposals (e.g., evaluating and understanding RFPs, developing cost/price models and narratives, summarizing financials, supporting strategic discussions related to cost proposal with executive leadership).
Thorough understanding of cost/pricing concepts, such as cost elements, direct and indirect costs, and various contract types.
Strong communication skills needed to interact with program personnel, as well as coordinating with infrastructure functions such as Contracts, Subcontracts and Procurement.
Strong analytical skills and ability to work efficiently in a dynamic environment.
Advanced MS Excel skills and proficiency with MS Word and PowerPoint.
Strong financial modeling skills.
Demonstrated ability to roll-up sleeves and work with team members and other business units.
Perform other duties as assigned by manager.
Location: 530 Gaither Road, Rockville, MD
Work Site Expectations: 3 days in office, 2 days remote
Travel Expectations: 5% (as needed for project assignment)
Hours: Standard office hours are 8:00am ET to 5:00pm ET, Monday -Friday
Compensation
