Pricing Analyst Overview:
Pricing Analyst I (Tactical) plays a key role in supporting profitable growth by evaluating and approving special pricing requests for dealers and customers across North America and Latin America. This position analyzes sales opportunities, market conditions, and pricing strategies to provide competitive recommendations while ensuring compliance with company policies and pricing guidelines. Working closely with dealers, sales teams, and leadership, the Pricing Analyst helps balance market competitiveness, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
What You Will Do:
- Determine appropriate discounts for North America (NA) Commercial, Government, and Latin America (LAM) special pricing requests within the appropriate pricing playbooks while maintaining a level playing field between brands.
- Research and analyze unit sales deals by procuring quotes, utilizing MAT, and requesting cost quotes when necessary. Assess deals for reasonableness and provide tactical pricing recommendations to senior management.
- Ensure dealers and customers are eligible for special pricing through extensive database and internet research while ensuring compliance with HYMH policy.
- Act as a liaison between HYMH dealers, pricing management, and HYMH sales personnel to ensure competitive pricing for each unique deal.
- Support current HYMH sales programs through research and communication with dealers, and research customer special pricing and purchase activity as requested by the HYMH direct sales teams.
- Perform special projects as assigned by the Manager, Pricing Execution and Compliance.

What You Will Need (Education):
- Bachelor of Science degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
Skills, Experience & Abilities:
- One year of experience with a Bachelor of Science degree, or three years of experience without a Bachelor of Science degree, in the forklift industry within customer service, sales, or finance.
- Ability to approve dealer special pricing requests and assess research requirements while ensuring compliance with HYMH policy.
- Ability to manage special pricing to achieve Annual Operating Plan (AOP) margins and market share objectives.
- Strong analytical and research skills with the ability to evaluate pricing requests and customer eligibility.
- Ability to recommend enhancements to current pricing processes and provide clarification and interpretation of current sales programs to HYMH dealers and internal customers.
- Proficiency in conducting database and internet research to support pricing decisions.
Additional Information:
- This position is responsible for processing a high volume of special pricing requests from dealers in North America, National Accounts, and Latin America.
- Research is frequently required to ensure pricing requests are eligible for special pricing and that discounting complies with HYMH policy.
- Direct follow-up with dealer principals, sales managers, sales representatives, and internal sales directors is often necessary to resolve pricing requests and ensure timely decisions.
