We have an exciting role within our team J&J Orthopaedics Commercial Excellence Team as a Pricing Specialist.
Purpose of the role
Within J&J Orthopaedics (DePuy Synthes) Commercial Excellence we provide best-in-class commercial support to both internal stakeholders and external customers. This role delivers aspects of the Pricing functions from the end-to-end process of Price Setups, issuing Pricing Agreements, Quotations, and completing ad hoc requests as per the requirements of business demand.
What to expect:
Price Setups:
- Manage all workflows through the Pricing Cycle ensuring completeness and accuracy
- Amend System Price setups for List Prices changes, Product Substitutions, New Product Introductions, Line Extensions, Contract Management exercises & other changes
- Run and create Credit Analysis Reports when required, and raise these credits on SAP (Invoicing system)
Pricing Agreements:
- Issue Pricing Agreements/Contracts
- Ensure all Pricing is authorized and approved prior to issuing agreements
- Ensure all SOX compliance responsibilities are met when offering a price
Quotations:
- Issue Quotation documents
- Ensure all quotations are authorised and approved prior to issuing
- Ensure all SOX compliance responsibilities are met when offering a one-off quotation price
- Work with J&J Finance to issue operational and financial lease documentation when required along quotations for capital purchases
Managing Pricing Team Email Inbox
- Respond to ad hoc queries and requests received into the J&J Pricing email inbox
- Types of requests include providing Customer Price Reports, providing item pricing to external customers, investigating pricing anomalies raised by the Sales Team
Who will you be working with:
Reporting into the J&J Orthopaedics Pricing Lead, you will work closely with the following people/departments:
- Commercial Business Managers
- Sales Team
- Contracting & Tenders Team
- Marketing
- Customer Services
- UK Regulatory, Legal, Finance
Who are we looking for?
- 2 years Prior Experience working within a Pricing or Finance/Commercial Role is advantageous
- Competent in all aspects of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) – intermediate/advanced in Excel
- High attention to detail and numeric accuracy, working with large sets of data
- Excellent communication skills as daily communication with customers, directors, sales force, and other line managers through multiple media
- Ability to prioritize work on a daily basis
- Team player
- Good working knowledge of Contract Manager/SAP/CCE tool is advantageous
- Willingness to travel to attend team meetings
- Knowledge of EU Legislation regarding procurement is beneficial
