As a Price Administrator, you will be trusted to ensure accuracy, compliance, and smooth implementation of pricing across Alcon’s product lines in collaboration with cross-functional teams. In this role, a typical day will include:
- Create, maintain, and update price lists across all relevant product lines, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business guidelines and objectives.
- Review and validate pricing requests, ensuring compliance with established pricing guidelines and corporate objectives before approving implementation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Sales, Finance, Marketing) to communicate and implement approved pricing changes, ensuring smooth execution and alignment across the organization.
- Manage pricing for new products, including creating, modifying, and updating pricing models in collaboration with product management and sales teams.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to plan, coordinate, and implement the annual price increase process, ensuring a smooth and transparent transition across all affected product lines.
- Conduct regular pricing audits to ensure accuracy, compliance, and alignment with business policies. Address discrepancies promptly and document all audits for future reference.
- Continuously monitor pricing data within systems like SAP and Vistex, ensuring all pricing components (e.g., price, discounts, surcharges, freight tables) are accurate and up-to-date across the organization.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO ALCON:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English
- 3 Years of Relevant Experience
- Experience in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- Knowledge of SAP and practical experience analyzing data, program metrics, and performance
- Experience using Salesforce.com is preferred
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multi-national, matrix organization, exhibiting leadership qualities.
- Ability to critically review and improve initiative metrics.
