Your Opportunity:
Taylor Corporation is looking for a Production Assembly and Support helper to join our team. In this role, you’ll work side by side with press operators, help keep production moving smoothly, and ensure jobs meet quality and safety standards.
Your Responsibilities:
• Assist the press operator with press setup, including mounting plates and loading substrates, inks, and other press materials
• Monitor and maintain ink levels, adhesive levels, and substrates throughout production runs
• Perform roll changes, splicing, and material handling to keep press operation consistent
• Conduct quality checks such as verifying registration, color, slit edges, and print quality against job specifications
• Keep the press area organized, clean, and compliant with safety and 5S standards
• Assist with press wash-ups, ink changes, and preventive maintenance tasks
• Communicate press or material issues to the operator or supervisor promptly
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety rules, and company policies to ensure efficient and safe production
• Support the press operator in meeting production goals, minimizing downtime, and reducing waste
• Prepare materials and equipment for the next job to streamline changeovers
Your Shift:
• 1st Shift: Monday – Friday | 6:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
You Must Have:
• Ability to read, interpret, and follow written instructions such as work orders, safety regulations, and operating procedures
• Ability to communicate effectively with fellow employees
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division with whole numbers, fractions, and decimals)
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions in written, oral, or diagram form
Requirements Within This Position:
• Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand
• Regularly required to remain in a stationary position
• Constantly operates machinery and handles products including print materials
• Frequently required to move inside the facility
• Regularly move up to 25+ pounds (lift, push, pull, and/or carry)
Pay Transparency:
The anticipated hourly range for this position is $17 – $19. The actual base offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The range listed is just one component of Taylor Corporation’s total compensation and benefits package for employees.
