Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership:
    • Supervise and lead a team of press operators, providing training, guidance, and support to ensure effective and efficient operations.
    • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to enhance team performance and productivity.
    • Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members based on production schedules and operational priorities.
    • Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, collaboration, and continuous learning.
  • Production Oversight:
    • Coordinate daily press operations, ensuring production schedules are adhered to with minimal downtime.
    • Monitor the printing process to ensure consistency, quality, and compliance with specifications.
    • Collaborate with other departments, such as Quality Assurance and Maintenance, to resolve issues and improve processes.
    • Adjust machine settings and troubleshoot equipment to maximize production efficiency and output.
  • Quality Assurance:
    • Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure printed materials meet company and customer standards.
    • Conduct regular inspections and audits of the press line to identify defects or areas for improvement.
    • Address quality issues promptly, implementing corrective actions and process improvements as necessary.
  • Safety and Compliance:
    • Enforce safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment for all team members.
    • Conduct safety training sessions and ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
    • Report any safety incidents or hazards to management and participate in incident investigations.
  • Process Improvement:
    • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
    • Analyze production data and generate reports to track performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
    • Collaborate with the production team to optimize workflow and resource allocation.
  • Inventory and Resource Management:
    • Monitor and manage inventory levels of press materials and supplies, coordinating with procurement for timely replenishment.
    • Ensure the proper handling and storage of press materials to prevent damage or wastage.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Additional education or certifications in manufacturing or supervision are advantageous.
  • Experience: Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.

Skills:
