We are currently looking for a Flexographic Press Operator who will be responsible for operating various printing presses to produce products that meet customer specific requirements. This position is responsible for the production of valuable, defect-free products that meet or exceed our customer's expectations. The operator will be successful in this position by executing standard work and adhering to all company policies.
Preferred Qualifications- Set up and operate various flexographic printing presses.
- Maintain safe working conditions in the department
- Maintain and service mechanical aspects of the press to ensure optimum running conditions
- Operate, adjust and troubleshoot the press to meet or exceed production standards
- Perform in-process inspection
- Check material and print quality and ensure quality guidelines are met
- Minimize waste within allowed limits (or less)
- Maintain a clean work area including printing press and components
- Complete daily production documentation
- Follow detailed written product specifications
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
- Cross train in other departments & equipment
- Support Lean Daily Management & Key Performance Indicator tracking
- Adhere to Brady’s Attendance, Safety & other Company policies
- Maintain accurate paperwork, labeling, packaging and material transactions.
- All other duties as assigned
Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 6am - 4:30pm
