We're looking for a Press Brake Fabricator to join our sheet metal fabrication team. This is a hands-on opportunity for someone who enjoys working with metal, operating equipment, reading blueprints, and producing quality parts.

As a Press Brake Fabricator, you'll take flat sheets of metal and transform them into precision components used in finished products. You'll work with different materials, thicknesses, tooling, and part configurations while learning and developing valuable fabrication skills.

If you have experience in metal fabrication, welding, machining, machine operation, or another skilled manufacturing environment, your experience may transfer well to this position.

What You'll Do

  • Operate press brake equipment to bend and form sheet metal according to blueprints and specifications.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, work instructions, and bend specifications.
  • Set up the press brake with the appropriate tooling for each job.
  • Position and align material accurately in the machine.
  • Adjust machine settings to achieve the required bend angle and dimensions.
  • Measure finished parts using calipers, angle gauges, tape measures, and other inspection equipment.
  • Perform first-piece and in-process inspections to ensure parts meet specifications.
  • Identify and correct issues with dimensions, angles, tooling, or material positioning.
  • Handle a variety of sheet metal materials, thicknesses, and part sizes.
  • Maintain accurate production and quality documentation.
  • Follow established safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Work with Production, Quality, Engineering, and other team members to resolve issues and keep production moving.
  • Cross-train on additional fabrication equipment and processes as opportunities arise.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is hands-on, dependable, mechanically inclined, and takes pride in producing quality work.

Preferred Experience

  • Previous press brake or sheet metal fabrication experience preferred.
  • Experience reading blueprints or technical drawings.
  • Experience using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, or angle gauges.
  • Mechanical aptitude and the ability to understand how machine adjustments affect finished parts.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to learn new equipment and manufacturing processes.
