Your Opportunity: Corporate Graphics Commercial is looking for energetic and quality driven team members to join our manufacturing team! We currently have an open position in our press department as a Press Assistant.
Work Authorization: To be considered for Taylor opportunities, candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.
Your Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate feeder end of press.
- Retrieve stock for jobs to be printed.
- Obtain stock and cut it to specifications when necessary.
- Keep press properly supplied of ink, chemicals, blankets, etc.
- Notify lead operator of low inventory of house inks or paper.
- Ensure that equipment is cleaned and maintained in proper working condition; notify lead operator of any concerns.
- Keep work area and equipment clean.
Your Shift:
- Sunday - Tuesday, 5:00pm - 5:00am
- Work 36 hours and get paid for 40!
Requirements Within This Position:
- Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand.
- Regularly required to remain in a stationary position.
- Constantly operates machinery and handles products including print materials.
- Frequently required to move inside the facility.
- Regularly move up to 25+ pounds (lift, push, pull and/or carry).
You Must Have:
- Ability to set adjustable mechanism to required tolerances
- Mathematical skills and attention to detail
- Basic mechanical ability
- Communication with operator
The anticipated hourly range for this position is $16 – $18. The actual base offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The range listed is just one component of Taylor Corporation’s total compensation and benefits package for employee.
