Our primary business purpose is to help clients and supporters increase the effectiveness of activities pertaining to scientific communication, medical education and the maintenance of clinician audience intimacy.
Position Summary
This position requires someone who understands the concepts of presentation design and data visualization, and can effectively communicate both abstract and concrete ideas using visual imagery. The Presentation Designer is responsible for producing PowerPoint presentations based primarily on templates. Must have the ability to communicate information and data effectively, as well as convey various visuals and ideas in an organized, effective and thoughtful way.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, produce and update dynamic, well thought out PowerPoint presentations using various templates.
- Translate program metrics in a data-driven manner using engaging graphs, charts and other visual depictions.
- Partner with Graphic Designers, Video Editors and Audio Specialists to produce images and multimedia files to embed in presentations.
- Uphold brand consistency across different businesses with large portfolios of products.
- Being able to assess requests, prioritize and evaluate tasks to be done.
Key Skills, Knowledge & Professional Education
- Minimum 2 years of professional PowerPoint presentation design experience
- Comfortable with data management, including the use and manipulation of raw data (Excel)
- Basic knowledge of charts construction and editing
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite a plus
- Familiarity with other presentation software a plus: Keynote, Symphony, Google Presentation, Prezi or Impress
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Ability to manage multiple projects; meet tight deadlines; and thrive under pressure
- Ease and experience with e-mail-driven work environment and keen communication skills
- Organized and proactive in order to meet ever-changing priorities
