The Preschool Director oversees the daily operations of an early childhood education center, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and high-quality learning environment. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and a commitment to supporting children, families, and staff.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  •  Manage day-to-day preschool operations, including scheduling, staffing, and program planning
  • Supervise, train, and evaluate teaching staff to ensure high-quality instruction and care

  • Ensure compliance with all state licensing regulations and health safety standards

  • Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum aligned with early learning guidelines. We use Frogstreet curriculum so familiarity with the curriculum is a plus.

  • Build positive relationships with families and serve as the primary point of contact

  • Oversee enrollment, budgeting, and administrative functions

  • Maintain a safe, clean, and engaging facility environment

 

You're a great fit for this role if you have:

  •  Minimum of 2 years of experience in early childhood education, including leadership or supervisory responsibilities
  •  Associate or bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or related field preferred 
  • Previous experience in an early childhood education center required  
  • Knowledge of state licensing requirements and child development principles
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • CPR/First Aid certification
  • Commitment to serving/educating children with disabilities  
  • Previous experience with grant compliance and management a plus

Skills Required

  • At least 2 years of early childhood education experience, including leadership or supervisory responsibilities
  • Previous experience in an early childhood education center
