Job Summary:
As our lead Solution Architect, you will be responsible for working hand in hand with the sales, engineering, service, and product teams to deliver full support and oversight around the sales and delivery process. This scope includes shaping, innovating and explaining the comprehensive portfolio of technology and services that currently exist, and working with the various teams to effectively explain Abacus’s value proposition to prospects and existing clients.
Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
- Work with the sales team on all strategic opportunities
- Help run sales pitches and work with the various stakeholders across the technology and delivery teams to ensure a smooth process
- Build relationships with end clients and prospects, translate their business requirements into practical solutions, and drive the growth of the MSP and Cybersecurity businesses through client account focus, sales enablement and service differentiation.
- Develop intellectual property, including methodologies, solutions, accelerators, tools and integrations to enable Abacus to be recognized as a leader in the MSSP space.
- Participate in Client QBR’s to get an understanding of current client needs to help enhance the product portfolio.

- Expertise in several of the following areas: information security management, vulnerability & threat management, identity and access management, privacy and data protection, application, server & cloud security.
- Proven experience in overseeing the complete sales to delivery lifecycle , right from the pre-sales stage starting with the identification of opportunities and initial scoping through to the final delivery and signoff.
Qualifications:
- Experience as a presales engineer or sales support professional at an MSP or Financial technology firm
- Minimum of 6+ years of experience in IT Managed services
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or equivalent
- Ability to commute to NYC office on a hybrid basis
- Must be willing to travel up to 30%
- Must possess adequate knowledge of industry best practices, platforms and tools, specifically in the areas of endpoint, Microsoft Azure cloud, SIEMs, XDR and MDR.

Salary DOE: 125-150k plus target bonus
