What success looks like in this role:
Technical Consulting Architect to join our cloud consulting team. In this role, you will be responsible for architecting, designing, and delivering scalable, secure, and highly available solutions on the Amazon Web Services (AWS) and/or GCP platform for a variety of enterprise clients. You will also provide strategic cloud guidance, help modernize workloads, and act as a technical leader for cloud transformation projects.
Engage with clients to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable cloud architecture on AWS.
Design and implement end-to-end AWS cloud solutions covering compute, storage, networking, security, DevOps, and data services.
Lead cloud assessments, application modernization efforts, and migration strategies (lift-and-shift, replatform, refactor).
Serve as a trusted advisor on AWS best practices including Well-Architected Framework, cost optimization, and security.
Guide and mentor technical teams through proof-of-concepts (POCs), pilots, and production deployments.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders including project managers, developers, DevOps engineers, and security teams.
Develop reusable technical assets including reference architectures, templates, and documentation.
Participate in RFP responses, client presentations, and architecture review boards.
Stay updated with AWS service updates and recommend adoption strategies where applicable.

You will be successful in this role if you have:
BA/BS degree and 8+ years’ relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience
Master’s degree preferred
Strong understanding of AWS core services: EC2, S3, VPC, RDS, Lambda, ECS/EKS, CloudFormation, IAM, etc.
Proven experience in cloud migration and modernization strategies (e.g., microservices, serverless, containerization).
Hands-on knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or CDK.
Deep expertise in cloud security, identity management, and compliance.
Experience integrating CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional (preferred) or Associate (required)
In case of GCP -
Google Cloud Certified – Professional Cloud Architect (required). Other certifications like Cloud DevOps Engineer, Cloud Security Engineer are a plus.
Strong knowledge of core GCP services: Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Run, BigQuery, Pub/Sub, Cloud Functions, Cloud Storage, VPCs, IAM, Cloud Monitoring, etc.
Expertise in cloud-native architecture (microservices, containers, service mesh, APIs).
Strong experience in DevOps tools and practices: Terraform, GitOps, CI/CD, Cloud Build, Anthos, etc.
Proficiency in scripting and programming languages (Python, Go, Shell).
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
