Position Summary
This role is responsible for driving revenue growth, client retention, and new business acquisition across the financial market’s technology segment.
The Account Manager will serve as a strategic partner to clients, identifying opportunities to deliver value through tailored solutions that align with their business objectives.
Working collaboratively with internal stakeholders and external partners, the Account Manager will lead all commercial activities within their designated portfolio. This includes managing the full sales cycle—from qualification to negotiation and close—while ensuring the retention and expansion of existing revenue streams. The role demands a proactive approach to relationship management, with a focus on building trust, deepening engagement, and positioning the organization as a long-term partner.
Success in this role will be measured by net revenue growth, client satisfaction, and the ability to translate market insights into actionable sales strategies.
What you'll be doing:
• Own and support RFI and RFP and Proposal submissions
• Demonstrate deep understanding of the customer decision maker’s strategies, priorities and needs.
• Maintain solid understanding of MIT, plus broader LSEG solutions to initiate conversations and raise interest.
• Build and embed a long-term trusted advisor relationship within your accounts.
• Drive growth by rapidly growing LSEG footprint within your accounts.
• Focus on maintaining overall customer engagement and expanding and retaining managed revenue.
• Coordinate all commercial activities within accounts, owning the end-to-end customer relationship.
• Drive efficiency in account administration (especially for lower value and growth potential accounts)
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure billing accuracy and clients invoice queries are resolved in a timely manner
What you’ll bring:
• Established track record in driving growth, achieving revenue targets
• Strong understanding of customers and their business model and workflows
• Solid Experience in Financial Services Industry
• Industry experience within the Exchange Technology segment
• Strong MIT product knowledge
• Building relationships while collaborating and sharing knowledge with clients
• Selling skills (identity, develop and articulate a complex proposition/consultative selling)
• Strong ability to work with clients and come to terms on agreements
• Strong interpersonal skills, ability to develop and implement a sales plan, ability to use a variety of technology with a high level of proficiency.
• Problem solving—ability to understand, articulate, structure and solve client needs.
• Presentation and communication skills: ability to deliver presentations and communicate at all levels within an organization.
• Ability to collaborate with account teams to solve client escalations
• Account management, sales or marketing experience in a customer facing environment required.
• Customer relationship management required throughout your book of business
• Bachelor's degree or suitable work experience.
