The Opportunity:
We are seeking a skilled Prepress Support Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in prepress operations and be proficient in using various prepress equipment and technologies.
The position requires an active TS/SCI plus Poly.
Responsibilities:
Convert artwork into film to facilitate publication production.
Create and utilize training materials, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and other documentation as directed.
Produce printing press plates and related products.
Strip film onto lays to make plates for printing and press applications.
Operate computer-to-plate and computer-to-film systems.
Reproduce high-quality negatives and/or positives.
Digitally strip and plate negatives.
Perform preventative maintenance on prepress machinery.
Execute safety requirements.
Review and follow MSDS guidance regarding chemicals used
Qualifications:
Required:
University Degree (BA/BS) or equivalent experience and 3+ years of related work.
Experience with Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.
Extensive experience in prepress operations.
Experience using various prepress equipment and technologies.
Requires an active TS/SCI plus Poly.
