Position Overview:

As part of the talented Thunder Jet team members will be responsible for preparing all boats for paint.

Essential Functions:

• Grind, sand, polish, scotch bright, and tape all product moving through the paint department.
• Bondo® may be applied in some cases.
• Self-starter, team player with a good safety awareness.
• Detailed and organized.

Diversity of thought and experiences is fundamental when imagining the unimaginable. Certain skillsets/experiences are necessary; however, others can be developed along the way.

Required Qualifications:

• Ability to stand, bend, and stoop for 10+ hour shifts.
• Maintain good attendance
• Work overtime to meet production needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Operates and maintains hand and power tools and equipment while training under the safety guidelines. 

• Ability to follow established safety processes.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Self-starter, team player with a good safety awareness.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

Working Conditions:

• The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, climb, balance, and use arms and hands to reach, pull, push, clasp, and move a variety of materials. 
• The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.  The noise level is moderate to high in the manufacturing setting.

The anticipated pay range for this position ranges grade 2.0 $19.20-$20.20.   The actual base pay offered will vary depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location. 

At Brunswick, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the salary range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the specifics of the candidate’s qualifications and the business context.
