Overview of Responsibilities:
On a daily basis you’ll be:
- Completing all health and safety pre-work documentation and liaise with the customer service team to provide the very best customer experience.
- Carrying out the safe pre-delivery preparation and customisation of earth moving equipment, attachments and components.
- Completing daily preparation tasks by following standard work instructions to the highest possible standards.
- Keeping the workshop and work area in a clean and orderly condition while working to CAT contamination control guidelines and keeping yourself and colleagues safe.

What to expect
You will work within a workshop environment with a large supportive team.
You will be issued a phone, laptop (with main dealer standard diagnostic software). A range of tooling will be available from our tool stores.
Due to the large product range there will be new challenges and experiences on a regular basis.

Qualifications
Qualifications ranging from NVQ, City and Guilds or equivalent in land-based service engineering, vehicle maintenance and repair, or mechanical engineering, with demonstratable skills and experience working within any mechanical background will be considered.
Previous experience of working with off-highway machinery is not essential; but you will need foundational mechanical and electrical knowledge, an enthusiasm to learn and develop your skills, and awareness of good workshop practices including working in a timely, safe and cost-effective manner.
Personal Skills Knowledge and Experience
- You must be self-motivated and adaptable.
- You must have effective problem solving skills.
- Knowledge of good workshop practices.
- Current working knowledge in a mechanical discipline.
