PreOp/PACU Staff Nurse – Full-Time Position – Raleigh Location
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our surgery center team, specializing in both Pre-Operative and Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) support. This role is responsible for the care and safety of the patient while in the pre-operative and recovery areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality preoperative and postoperative patient care in a fast-paced surgery center environment
- Perform patient assessments, education, medication administration, and postoperative follow-up
- Coordinate care with surgical, anesthesia, and clinical teams to ensure a seamless patient experience
- Maintain accurate EMR documentation and uphold patient safety and confidentiality standards
- Assist with maintaining clinical supplies, equipment, and emergency readiness
- Support quality improvement initiatives, staff development, and infection control practices
- Deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining professionalism and teamwork throughout all patient interactions
Qualifications:
- Current RN license in the State of North Carolina
- Certification in BLS required; ACLS and PALS preferred or must be acquired within 90 days of hire
- Minimum 1–2 years of nursing experience in pre-op, PACU, critical care, or similar surgical nursing settings
- Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and organizational skills
- Must be able to work in a high patient/provider/client contact area and meet the demands of a fast-paced environment

Compensation:
- $31.00–52.00 per hour, commensurate with experience

Skills Required
