Job Description
- As a premaster in engineering, you will support our development engineers to supervise inertial sensors that are in ramp-up or series production. An Important part of this work is continuous improvement e.g. test program or optimization through data evaluation and failure analysis
- In addition, you will assist or develop, re-create and enhance demonstrators using Bosch Sensortec sensors (e.g. using Arduino Nicla Sense ME). These demonstrators are used for internal and external events to show the functionality as well as possible use cases of our portfolio
- Take responsibility for work packages in the areas mentioned above and drive them independently
- You work in close cooperation with the permanent employees of different departments of Bosch Sensortec GmbH, as well as Robert Bosch GmbH: e.g. assembly and connection technology, ASIC design, sensor element design and technology development
Qualifications
- Personality: Commitment and enjoyment of working in a dynamic environment, as well as good technical comprehension, team skills and sociability. Interest in latest consumer electronics devices and sensors
- Working Style: Structured, analytical and target oriented team player with cross-cultural competence. Convincing communication and presentation skills to work successfully with internal and external stakeholders
- Experience: Knowledge in MEMS sensors, data analysis (Matlab, Python) and programming (GIT and services as GitHub and/or Bitbucket and ideally skills in C, Python and 3D modeling for 3D printing)
- Languages: English (full professional proficiency), German is a plus
- Education: Excellent bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Microsystems technology, Physics, Materials Science, Computer Science or related fields
Additional Information
The Bosch PreMaster Program (Gap Year Program) is a two-stage qualification program for committed graduates with Bachelor's degrees who want to complete a Master's degree. After the Bachelor's degree, the first phase provides up to 12 months' practical experience for familiarization with technical and business interrelationships. The second phase comprises the Master's course and includes additional events and seminars as well as personal mentoring on the road to successful completion.
