The Role You’ll Play to Create Success

We are excited to announce our search for a full-time on-site Senior Predictive Analytics Analyst. In this role, you will contribute to the mission of FrankCrum by independently applying advanced actuarial, statistical, and predictive analytics methodologies to develop and maintain insurance pricing models, evaluate profitability, and support strategic business decisions. The role partners with leaders across the organization to analyze emerging risks, improve pricing strategies, support rate filings, and deliver data-driven insights that promote profitable growth.
The Role You’ll Play to Create Success 

1.    Analyzes data, such as premiums, losses, exposure, and claims experience, to identify trends, emerging risks, evaluate profitability across all lines of business, and recommend strategies to improve financial performance. 
2.    Develops, maintains, and enhances insurance pricing models, rating methodologies, and pricing analyses to support profitable growth, rate adequacy, and competitive market positioning.
3.    Collaborates with various departments to implement and maintain predictive and pricing models that inform business decisions using actuarial, statistical, and data science techniques.
4.    Collaborates with the Product Department and external actuarial consulting firm on rate filings, form filings, pricing analyses, and other regulatory or product initiatives. 
5.    Interprets and analyzes internal and external data to identify trends, opportunities, and emerging risks affecting underwriting results and profitability. 
6.    Utilizes actuarial techniques, predictive modeling, and analytical tools to evaluate pricing performance, create reports, and provide actionable insights to senior leadership. 
7.    Prepares special studies, analyses, and recommendations related to pricing, profitability, reserving support, product performance, and other strategic initiatives. 
8.    Assesses complex data systems and analytical programs, ensuring data integrity while supporting ad hoc requests and management reporting. 
9.    Runs and documents financial and actuarial analyses and assists in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting. 
10.    Participates in workflow automation efforts and develops processes, procedures, and analytical best practices to improve operational efficiency. 
11.    Communicates regularly and effectively with team members, business partners, and leadership, presenting analytical findings and recommendations in a clear and actionable manner.
 

The Attributes We Seek

1.    Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Actuarial Science, Finance, Economics, or a related field required.
2.    Three (3) years of relevant insurance/analytical/actuarial experience, especially pricing, preferred.
3.    Strong analytical, quantitative, statistical, and problem-solving skills.
4.    Experience extracting, cleansing, validating, and analyzing large insurance datasets.
5.    Ability to demonstrate proficiency in Excel, SQL (Azure EDW), Python, BI tools, and related software required. 
6.    Experience with Workers’ Compensation, Commercial General Liability, commercial package, or Excess & Surplus (E&S) lines, preferred.
7.    Experience with predictive models such as generalized linear models (GLMs), machine learning, and/or predictive modeling software (such as Akur8), strongly preferred.
8.    Experience with ratemaking and rate adequacy techniques (indications, loss/premium trend, on-leveling, dislocation, impact analysis, scenario testing), strongly preferred.
9.    Experience in leveraging AI and company approved analytical tools (such as Copilot, Claude, Akur8, Python) to improve modeling accuracy, automate workflows, increase operational efficiency, and enhance decision-making.

Skills Required
