Essential Functions:
- Learn to set up and operates the proper equipment to produce specified dimensions and finishes on a wide range of metals, alloys, plastics, wood and other materials.
- Learn to use all measuring instruments and works to close tolerances.
- Learn to use such machines as lathes, milling machines, surface grinders, etc.
- Willingness to work overtime when required and with short notice. This is a day shift position.
- Perform other duties as assigned or as the situation dictates.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Follow prescribed safety guidelines in accordance to ORAFOL Americas Safety program; use required PPE
- Maintains an optimal level of product quality and adheres to ORAFOLs Quality Program
Education Requirements:
- High School diploma or Equivalent
- Some knowledge of optics preferred.
Work Experience:
- 0-2 years experience in a precision machining
- PC Skills
Aptitudes & Characteristics:
- Completes work assignments in a timely manner.
- Requires close attention to detail and methodical approach to work processes.
- Must has a positive can do attitude and a sense of accountability; takes initiative.
- Must be a fast learner, driven and self-motivated; strive towards continuous improvement.
