We are looking for a Pre-Sales Technical Solutions Engineer – Design and Manufacturing. You are an individual who embraces new ideas and challenges the status quo. In this hybrid environment role, reporting to the Senior Manager, Technical Sales South Europe, you will collaborate with Autodesk Sales teams and Channel Partners in the South Europe Region in a pre-sales capacity. You will use your practical skills and technical vision to showcase the value of Autodesk solutions.
Responsibilities
You will understand and discover customer needs, providing Autodesk solution advice to address them
You will deliver technical demonstrations and presentations at customer-facing events, meetings, and webinars
You will contribute to commercial proposals
You will provide feedback to Product teams to enhance Autodesk solutions
You will develop technical content for use in pre-sales activities and sales automation
You will support Channel Partners in understanding and promoting Autodesk solutions
You will build an industry profile as a recognized technical expert and advocate for Autodesk solutions
Minimum Qualifications
You have professional experience in manufacturing, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, product development, automotive, aerospace, medical technology, metal fabrication, materials science, or related field
You have deep knowledge of 3D CAD, PDM and/or PLM solutions
You have a deep understanding of manufacturing workflows and business processes
You have experience in PDM/PLM solutions, with a good understanding of on-premises and cloud-based PDM/PLM solutions
You have excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills for executive meetings, workshops, conferences, trade fairs, webinars, and customer-facing demonstrations
You demonstrate technical curiosity and a continuous improvement mindset
You have business fluency in Italian and English, both spoken and written
You can travel within Italy, with occasional travel to other global locations
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Autodesk products such as Vault, Vault PLM, Inventor, Fusion Manage
Integrations between PDM, PLM, ERP, CAD, and other enterprise systems
Experience supporting complex enterprise sales cycles, solution architecture discussions, workflow design, pilots, or proof-of-value engagements
Knowledge of manufacturing industries such as machinery, industrial equipment, automotive, aerospace, consumer products, or medical devices
Familiarity with competitive Design and/or PDM/PLM platforms
Proficiency in Spanish, French and Portuguese languages is beneficial

Salary transparency
Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For Italy based sales roles, we expect a starting On-Target Earnings (OTE) between 60,750 EUR and 89,100 EUR. OTE is comprised of base salary plus commission target for sales roles. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, our compensation package may include annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.Sales Careers
