As a Pre-Sales Engineer at Rossum, you’ll help prospects understand how our platform solves complex document automation challenges. You’ll partner with Sales to lead technical discovery, shape solution designs, build tailored demos, and guide prospects through evaluation with clarity and confidence.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys translating technical capability into real business value, thrives in customer conversations, and collaborates well across Product, Engineering, and Professional Services.
What You’ll DoLead technical discovery with prospects, uncovering requirements and mapping them to Rossum capabilities.
Deliver tailored demos that communicate value in a clear, customer-oriented way.
Translate customer needs into scalable solution architectures and implementation scopes.
Support Sales during evaluation cycles, including RFP responses and technical Q&A.
Partner with Product to share market feedback, feature requests, and identified solution gaps.
Collaborate with Professional Services to ensure smooth handoffs and feasibility assessments.
Create and maintain pre-sales documentation, demo scripts, and reusable solution assets.
Support PoCs and pilot design with clear success criteria and measurable outcomes.
Communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Internal communication in English as a default.
3+ years of experience in Pre-Sales Engineering, Solutions Consulting, or technical customer-facing roles.
Strong understanding of SaaS architectures, APIs, integrations, and workflow automation.
Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Experience collaborating with Sales and cross-functional teams.
Problem-solving mindset with attention to feasibility and scalability.
Experience with IDP, AI/ML, or automation platforms.
Exposure to enterprise SaaS sales cycles.
Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and security fundamentals.
Experience creating demo environments or pre-sales tooling.
Gain a strong understanding of Rossum’s product, architecture, and demo practices.
Build trust with Sales, Product, and Professional Services teams.
Support technical discovery and deliver a few customer demos.
Own technical conversations for assigned opportunities.
Suggest enhancements to demo flows, discovery questions, or solution assets.
Update or contribute to playbooks and pre-sales materials.
Lead solution design for strategic deals or complex enterprise evaluations.
Improve win rates, evaluation clarity, or demo effectiveness.
Provide structured feedback shaping product and pre-sales strategy.
