Responsibilities
  • Conducting Sales Presentations for both Technical and High level engagement 
  • Lead and own all POC processes from inception to deployment in the field within the region
  • During product evaluation and POC, identification, troubleshooting and resolution of issues related to Exaware’s solution.
  • Support Sales Function on new leads and opportunities to meet the pipeline requirements.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for critical customer escalations, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Establish a strong market presence within the assigned territory.
  • Lead all RFP process from technical write up to commercial pricing for N.A.

Requirements
  • BSc / BA in CS, EE, Telecommunications or Electrical Engineering or Computer Science from a recognized university. 
  • 3-6 years experience working as a Pre-Sales Engineer in the networking industry at an international company
  • Proven experience technically leading a successful sales process (Proof-of-Concept, presentations, RFP’s/RFI) from lead to a closed deal. 
  • Knowledge and understanding of sales processes and business methodologies 
  • Willing to travel extensively, the Customers we are looking the candidate to work with are in USA and Latin America.
  • Capable to have dynamic working hours and be on call when there are urgent issues arising at Customer end or internally. Our R&D team is in Israel and India, and our Customers are in Pacific to Eastern American time zone.
  • Understand network deployment use cases such as for FTTH, 5G Mobile, Access and Edge aggregation, MPLS Backbone, and Core.
  • Has familiarity using and configuring network devices, such as Cisco or Nokia or Juniper or Huawei.

Experience
  • Communication Protocols: Understanding in protocols such as MPLS, BGP, OSPF, QoS, L2/L3 VPNs, Segment Routing, and multicast.
  • Linux: Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems, including troubleshooting and performance tuning.
  • Network Devices: Ability to configure network devices such as Cisco systems, Arista, Juniper, Nokia, or Huawei. Must have experience using CLI interface. Must have experience debugging devices if there are issues in the network.
  • Certifications: CCNP or higher certification is highly desirable. We are looking for candidates that have prior certifications or long years of experience configuring these devices.
  • Experience with server services like Active Directory, GPO, DNS, and DHCP– an advantage. We will be using basic technology tools to work with our R&D team and Customers such as file transfer, setting up VPN’s, remote logging into systems, and reading and analyzing and creating technical documentation.

We consider the following an advantage
  • Experience with automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Ansible).
  • Prior experience working with service providers or telecom companies, or OEM brands that design networking products such as Cisco.
