Pre-Sales Engineer II
The Pre-Sales Engineer II partners with the sales team to consult with prospects and customers regarding after warranty data center maintenance & network optimization. The Pre-Sales Engineer II designs & architects’ technical solutions to meet evolving customer needs. Assists the sales team as a subject matter expert on storage, server, networking, as well as Professional and Parkview Managed Services. Provides on-going technical sales training to the sales team.
What you’ll be doing:
- Drive sales with technical expertise, sales ability, account management skills, and exceptional customer focus
- Engage on conference calls with Account Managers and prospective clients, serving as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on hardware & software architecture, network architecture, and Parkview Managed Service offerings.
- Create & deliver technical product & support presentations for external partners and customers
- Present capability assessments and validations as it applies to the technical sales process
- Proactively scopes the technical solution required to address customer requirements, assesses customers met and unmet needs, and recommends solutions that optimize value
- Coordinates closely with internal sales leadership, advanced engineering, product management, & service resources to align solution design with customer’s business requirements
- Pursue business development opportunities to align with company’s global business objectives and profit margin goals
- Provides coaching and professional development to team-member sales associates to enhance their product knowledge, technical acumen, & best practices
- Monitors technical solutions proposed throughout the sales process, and alerts the account teams to potential risks of deal closure
What we’re looking for:
- A minimum of five (5) years of successful technical sales and/or pre-sales experience in GPU Servers.
- Strong experience working on either Dell HPE Lenovo GigaByte Servers with Nvidia GPU servers including architecture design for designing and deploying servers powering up AI workloads.
- Strong Technical Server expertise with exposure to GPU-accelerated servers and vendors such as NVIDIA, Gigabyte, Supermicro, Intel, and AMD.
- Experience in designing & architecting technical solutions to meet customer requirements
- Intermediate knowledge of data center topology, networking architecture, hardware infrastructure, operating systems, and software.
- Experience with selling enterprise GPU servers, storage, & networking solutions
- Experience working on one or multiple OEMs: Nvidia, Gigabyte, Intel, AMD, HPE, Dell, IBM, NetApp, Cisco, Juniper
- Knowledge on GPU Technologies like NVIDIA HGX/ NVIDIA H100/H200/B200/ NVIDIA Blackwell Architecture/NVIDIA GB200 / GB300 platforms/NVIDIA AI Enterprise or any other GPU technologies.
- Good Experience in GPU-dense architectures and AI infrastructure environments.
- Experience with performance monitoring solutions & NPMDs
- Knowledge of legacy hardware technologies a plus.
- Experience with technical sales training a plus.
- Multilingual with Mandarin, Cantonese & English Language capability.
- Evidence of strong written, verbal, & presentation skills.

Education:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred. Will take work experience into consideration.
