Department OverviewMotorola Solutions is seeking a Pre-Sales Engineer or Practical Engineer with a strong technological and business orientation, specializing in infrastructure and low-voltage systems.
Job Description
- Characterizing and designing solutions for infrastructure, low-voltage systems, CCTV, and Command & Control (C&C) systems for the company's clients.
- Responding to tenders for C&C and low-voltage systems in the HLS (Homeland Security) sector.
- Write technical responses for tenders (RFP / RFI).
- Leading technological meetings and technical reviews with clients.
- Lead the technological aspects of deals alongside the sales team.
- Introduce and train internal company personnel on new services and technologies.
Basic Requirements
- B.Sc. Engineer or Practical Engineer in Computer Science / Communications / Information Systems / Electronics.
- Experience in writing tender responses (RFP / RFI) – Mandatory.
- In-depth technological knowledge of low-voltage solutions and systems: access control, alarm systems, security cameras, IP / LPR / VMS / analytics, etc. – Mandatory.
- In-depth technological knowledge of control systems and C&C (Command and Control) solutions – Mandatory.
- In-depth technological knowledge of communication infrastructures (IP / Optics / Radio, etc.).
- Deep knowledge of various common and emerging protocols in communication infrastructure and low-voltage systems.
- Technological knowledge of computing infrastructures.
- Technological knowledge of data communications and Information Security (Switches, Routers, Firewalls) – Mandatory.
- Knowledge of server hardware (Fujitsu / Cisco UCS / HP / Dell / IBM).
- Experience in system architecture design: servers, storage, communications, and networking – Mandatory.
- Experience working with large enterprise clients in the fields of control systems, C&C, and low-voltage systems.
- Experience in Information Security – Advantage.
- Experience and familiarity with various vendors in the low-voltage and communication infrastructure domains.
- Experience and familiarity with subcontractors in the low-voltage and communication infrastructure domains.
- Strong ability to present technical solutions, both verbally and in writing, to managers and various stakeholders internally and externally.
- Knowledge and experience in system pricing, including P&L (Profit and Loss) statements.
- Technical sales orientation, ability to understand and analyze customer needs, and make technical decisions with a strong business perspective.
- CCNA certification – Advantage.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills, ability to work well in a team with internal and external stakeholders – Mandatory.
