Support development and execution of sustainability and energy-efficiency projects at an automotive seating plant. Tasks include planning annual sustainability strategy, implementing energy and water savings projects, coordinating audits, monitoring KPIs (energy, water, CO₂, waste), preparing audit/certification materials, and reporting to corporate. Use Power BI, Excel and SCADA/BMS tools.

Planeación
Elaborar la estrategia anual de sustentabilidad.
Definir metas de reducción de energía, agua y emisiones.
Identificar oportunidades de ahorro.
Ejecución
Implementar proyectos de eficiencia energética.
Coordinar auditorías energéticas.
Gestionar proyectos de reutilización de agua.
Coordinar iniciativas de reducción de residuos.
Seguimiento
Monitorear indicadores:
kWh/vehículo o kWh/pieza producida.
m³ de agua consumida.
Emisiones de CO₂.
Consumo de gas natural.
Generación de residuos.
Cumplimiento
Preparar información para auditorías corporativas y certificaciones
Competencias clave para la industria automotriz
Gestión de proyectos de descarbonización.
Implementación de ISO 50001.
Análisis de mercado eléctrico y suministro calificado.

Skills Required

  • Degree in Environmental, Industrial, or Energy Engineering
  • Experience managing energy savings projects
  • Experience with environmental and sustainability KPIs
  • Knowledge of environmental and energy audits
  • Knowledge of industrial electrical systems
  • Experience with efficient lighting (LED) projects
  • Knowledge of compressed air systems
  • Knowledge of HVAC and climatization systems
  • Experience with process ovens and curing systems
  • Familiarity with electric motors and variable frequency drives (VFD)
  • Experience with energy monitoring systems and SCADA/BMS
  • Knowledge of solar photovoltaic systems and BESS integration
  • Water management, reuse, and wastewater treatment knowledge
  • Knowledge of waste management and circular economy principles
  • Familiarity with Mexican environmental legislation and SEMARNAT/CONAGUA regulations
  • Experience preparing information for corporate audits and certifications
  • Project management and leadership of multidisciplinary teams
  • Data analysis, KPI tracking, and executive reporting skills
