The IT Support & Operations Officer reports hierarchically to the Business IT Specialist or Manager. The IT S&O Officer has a local scope.
The role applies incident and problem management processes to provide resolution to incidents or appropriate workarounds for problems while seeking to proactively and continuously improve support to the Nutreco’s internal and external customers.
Job Description:
Accountabilities:
- Contributes to the development and modification of the network/system and its various components.
- Installs and updates software.
- Maintains and executes security procedures.
- Collects data, performs analysis, and suggests improvements on usage, disruptions, and problems.
- Solves disruptions/problems.
Site IT Accountabilities:
- Assist in any required network diagnostic and upgrade(s) for the site(s).
- Ensures the data backup schedule is respected.
- Deployment of the Nutreco IT Policy.
Application Accountabilities:
- Provide application support and execute application maintenance for the local business applications, including but not limited to training, training materials, documentation of operating procedures and user manuals. Business applications include both common applications such as ERP and BU specific applications such as production software, labelling, LIMS, or other applications or systems.
