Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate intern to join the Public Relations (PR) team at CHANEL Spain. As a PR intern, you will play a key role in supporting the daily activities of the department, collaborating on media relations, event management, and communication projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Event Coordination Support: Participate in the organization and execution of press events, product launches, fashion shows, and other corporate events.
  • Media Relations: Assist in managing the press and media contact database, as well as preparing and distributing press releases.
  • Media Monitoring: Track and analyze media coverage of the brand across digital, print, and social media platforms. Prepare clipping reports.
  • Shipment Management: Coordinate and manage product shipments to influencers, celebrities, and media outlets.
  • Administrative Support: Assist with administrative tasks such as organizing files, tracking budgets, and coordinating with other departments.
  • Research and Analysis: Contribute to market research and competitor analysis to identify communication and PR opportunities.
  • Digital Content: Support the creation and curation of content for the brand’s digital channels and social media, aligned with CHANEL’s communication strategies.

Requirements:

  • Education: Current students in their final years or recent graduates in Advertising, Public Relations, Communication, Journalism, Marketing, or related fields.
  • Languages: Advanced level of Spanish and English (written and spoken). Knowledge of other languages is a plus.
  • Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Familiarity with media analysis tools and social media platforms is a plus.
  • Competencies: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to work in a team, attention to detail, and a strong orientation towards service and quality.
  • Industry Interest: Passion for the fashion, beauty, and luxury industries, with a basic understanding of current trends and industry dynamics.
