YOUR MISSION
We are looking for a highly motivated candidate to lead Glovo PR and Communications in Ukraine driving global positioning strategy according to local country context and business needs. As a country Glovo communications leader, you will be developing and executing a comprehensive PR & communication strategy to elevate Glovo’s value proposition on the Ukrainian market via local media touchpoints and partnerships.
THE JOURNEY
- Lead local Glovo public relations & corporate communications strategy to drive and protect the brand reputation in media
- Lead creation and coordinate execution of PR, Social Media and Communication calendar with key campaigns in general interest media, trade media, and lifestyle publications, & events based on local business and communications objectives
- Lead localization of Glovo regional PR programs and establish a regular cadence of media coverage in local media.
- Manage monthly measurement and analytics to access the success of delivered campaigns and events, i.e. analysis of sentiment, tone of voice, share of tier-1 media
- Proactively work to protect Glovo’s reputation in issues management. Work closely with Legal and Government relation teams to contain potential crises
- Work on a daily basis with PR and SMM agencies to create and curate engaging content, deliver day-to-day communications tasks & initiatives and handle requests from journalists
- Prepare press releases, articles, Q&As, talk tracks for local media touchpoints
- Research and write briefing materials, draft statements and media comments on behalf of company spokespeople.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE
- Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field
- 4+ years of experience in Public Relations and Communication (in-house or agency)
- Ability to manage effective working flow with external PR, social media and communication agencies (partners)
- Solid track record of successful brand reputation establishment and crisis management
- Good knowledge of the Ukrainian media landscape is a must. Experience with Government Relations projects management is a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Prominent project management, organizational and time management skills
- Analytical mindset, ability to work with analytical reports and data tools, attention to details
- Fluent Ukrainian and English language skills
- An empathetic, inclusive and curious attitude
