About the Company

For over 35 years, we've transacted more than $3.5 billion of real estate, acquiring over 14,648 multifamily units and taking dozens of properties full cycle — on average returning 100% of investor capital plus strong returns. Our focus is acquiring older apartment home communities and creating value by improving the properties, optimizing operations, and fostering human flourishing in each one. Above all, we've learned that success is measured not just by financial gain, but by the quality of the relationships we build along the way. Please read our values, and if you are aligned, we encourage you to apply.

Job Overview

We're a US-based investment firm running two brands — an SEC-regulated real-estate investment fund and a family-focused legacy coaching and publishing brand. The PR and Program Manager is responsible for leading and running several programs with advisors, investors and high net worth families. You are a friendly and hospitable operator with the support of an art department, copywriter, social media manager, budget, and boots-on-the-ground investor relations team. You orchestrate the programs, coordinate the team, make it happen. You pick up the phone or send a text because you are building and connecting with relationships that are part of your campaigns and programs. For example: promote online workshops and workbooks to 50 financial advisors so they can deliver content from their own offices to their clients. Work closely with the social media manager as well as podcasters and influencers to help create buzz online and meet your KPIs.

Success is measured on reach into new territory: open rooms the brands aren't in and deliver the earned-media share of roughly 1,000 new qualified connections per month across both brands — through PR, relationships, and partnerships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own the PR programs. Own PR end-to-end — media-director relationships, free-media outlets, pitching, source interviews, and reach/list-access growth; build and tend press, podcast, and media relationships by phone and in person; pitch stories and secure placements and guest spots in interviews, articles, and podcasts; field inbound press inquiries; monitor brand mentions and reputation.

  • Run the book and credibility programs. Coordinate book publishing end-to-end — edits, endorsements, press kit, print, distribution; assemble and coordinate written and video book reviews; lead production of testimonial, interview, and review video, pulling the video pod.

  • Build partnerships, advisors, and community. Build and maintain advisor relationships and the program components around them — workshops, e-course, advisor-CRM stewardship, workshops, workbooks, book shipments, Thrive Groups, meet-and-greets, advisor conferences; build referral and strategic partnerships; grow the meetup and community presence; maintain the map of key external relationships and their owners.

  • Own your part of conferences, sponsorships, and speaking. Recommend which conferences and sponsorships are worth attending (the EVP decides with you); attend and represent the brand on the ground; extract maximum value from each sponsorship — logo, booth, attendee list, inclusions; secure and prepare speaking slots and panels; own how leads are captured and followed up from each event or program, think about final results and work backward from there.

  • Run the radio and podcast programs. Develop the radio and podcast program content with help from others including the Fund 17 and Thriving Families stakeholders and manage earned-media campaigns into relationships that benefit us.

  • Source pod talent. Source and vet additional pod talent (e.g., a videographer, an assistant, an influencer, a writer) when needed; the EVP approves spend.

Requirements
  • 7+ years in PR, communications, or media relations, with a track record of pitched placements and an actual media/partner network you can name plus demonstration of program management.

  • Near-native English and real comfort on the phone and in person with US media, partners, and advisors. This is the hard filter — the role lives in relationships, not behind a keyboard.

  • Relationship-driven temperament: you're a connector who builds trust over time, not a content maker (that's a separate seat you work with to support your KPIs).

  • Book / thought-leadership PR: launches, reviews, endorsements, press kits — you've built an author or expert platform before.

  • Conference, sponsorship, and speaking experience: securing slots, maximizing sponsorships, and representing a brand on the ground.

  • Owner's mindset: whatever-it-takes hours, low-ego, never goes dark on the cadence.

  • Real AI & systems builder: you use Claude AI connectors and skills to build media-list, monitoring, and outreach-personalization processes and workflows that 2× your reach. Not just prompt-dabbling.

  • Self-sufficient operator: you know which door to knock on unprompted and learn any tool cold. You are creative and able to solve a challenge (and able to use your team as a sounding board for advice).

  • Valid passport and genuine travel readiness — you represent the brands at conferences, traveling to the US up to 6 × per year for ~one week. First week is Aug 31- Sep 3.

  • Reliable remote setup and US phone number and dialing

Preferred Qualifications
  • An existing media, podcast, or partner network in finance, real estate, investment, or the family/coaching/faith space — directly transferable relationships.

  • Financial-services or investor-communications PR experience — you know investor-facing claims route through compliance.

  • Advisor or community program management experience.

  • Built AI-assisted PR systems — media databases, monitoring, personalized pitch pipelines.

  • A polished, relationship-first, low-ego temperament — the person other people want to take a call from.
