We are currently recruiting for a Senior PR Specialist to sit within the UK Marketing & PR team, based in our London office. You will be reporting into the UK Brand Manager.
The role of the Senior PR Specialist is to develop and execute PR and communication plans based on the ‘LifeWear’ brand concept and philosophy with excellence in a fast-paced and quickly transforming omni-channel retail environment.
This role is a unique opportunity to support the business and growth of the brand within the market through collaborations with key business partners and cross-functional teams, implementing PR and communication strategies to drive strong results.
What you will be responsible for:
Contributing to the development and execution of the strategic seasonal PR plans according to the European & Global guidelines while constantly keeping the long-term vision for the brand in mind.
Coming up with strong ideas to drive the awareness and understanding of the LifeWear philosophy in the UK.
Working closely with the marketing team to execute local partnerships and events that support our branding, local relevance, and traffic to stores.
Working cross-functionally with other departments such as our European marketing and PR team, the digital marketing team, store operations, omni-channel team, sustainability team and instore marketing to make sure all communications are aligned.
Planning and execution of events and promotions in UK such as previews, influencer trips, customer engagement events.
Measuring ongoing PR performance and effectiveness against set KPIs and make reports, using these learnings in future activities and sharing best practice.
Skills, Experience and Attributes:
5+ years of demonstrated success in PR & marketing roles with event experience.
Proven ability to develop, communicate and execute strategic PR plans.
Experience managing and developing brand & corporate partnerships.
Leading sustainability strategies or collaborating closely on sustainability and/or social impact initiatives.
Has excellent verbal and written communication in English.
Possesses advanced knowledge of MS360 including Word, Excel, PowerPoint along with the ability and willingness to learn the corporate technologies in place.
Demonstrates a strong understanding of the customer mindset.
Can think broadly and strategically but also focus on details and execution.
Has excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize workload and deliver to tight deadlines across multiple projects simultaneously.
An in-depth understanding of the UK media landscape and excellent media contacts with a focus on news, fashion, lifestyle and sustainability media
Deep knowledge and passion for culture and trends, not only fashion and retail but also books, art, music etc.
Strong collaborator who effectively partners with cross-functional teams, including with store teams
Ability to work in a fast-paced evolving environment and deal with many projects at the same time.
A willingness to initiate and adapt change to streamline processes.
Self-starter, goal oriented and solutions driven.
