Job Description

We are inviting applications from graduates in Spanish Law who are interested in joining our Madrid office in September 2027 to complete the practical work placement (prácticas) required as part of the Máster de Acceso a la Profesión de la Abogacía y Procura offered by a Spanish university. Successful candidates will subsequently join the firm as first-year abogados, subject to passing the Spanish Bar exam.

Selection Process

The selection process comprises the following stages, with the number of candidates being reduced at the end of each one:

  • Screening of candidate online applications. 
  • A video interview.
  • A written case study test (in English). 
  • A first competency-based interview with our HR department.
  • A second (and possibly third) interview with partners and senior associates.

Qualifications

What are we looking for

Spanish law graduates:

  • Undertaking the Máster de Acceso a la profesión de la Abogacía y Procura during 2026/27.
  • With an excellent academic record (a minimum grade point average of a high Notable).
  • With a high level of written and spoken English. 

What else will we take into account

When reviewing your initial application, we will take particular account of any of the following: 

  • Additional graduate qualifications held by you in Business Administration, Economics or Political Sciences.
  • Relevant work experience gained during your graduate studies.
  • Positions of responsibility held whilst at school or university.
  • Fluency in languages other than English (e.g., Mandarin Chinese, German or French).
