WHAT YOU DO
You contribute to added customer value, a strong brand and increased fashion perception by managing and leading the PR & Comms team in accordance with H&M values, standards & policies.
You are responsible to implement global strategies while ensuring a strong strategic foundation for the Sales markets PR & Communications activities.
You collaborate closely with the other teams in Customer Activation to be able to find synergies and maximize the effect of our earned communication.
- Based on insights from each individual market and with H&M’s customer and brand in focus, set goals, priorities and strategies to meet the global and regional overall objectives, both short and long term.
- Build, strengthen and protect the H&M brand by trustworthy communication.
- Ensure a strong regional communication plan that can work effectively on sales market level with few adaptations.
- Implement global strategies with regional adaptations to ensure relevance and effective brand building to elevate the brand whilst optimizing results.
- Create conditions to enable performance of teams and individuals.
- Set and follow-up on sales markets KPIs and goals with management team

You have strong brand building focus and are insight and data driven, with proven ability to drive results and work towards goals
You are an experienced brand builder and manager with a proven track record of creating results within PR & Communications, both reactively and proactively.
You manage your teams through an insight driven, customer and brand focused mindset. With your passion for PR & communications, you are an excellent relationship builder, and you find innovative ways to engage our customers and stakeholders.
You bring others onboard through inspiring, clear and including communication where you lead with an ambitious and pragmatic approach.
We are looking for people with…

A communication degree/relevant qualification.

At least 5 years’ experience from similar positions within or directly related to PR/Communications
-
Proven strategic communication planning, media relations and issues/crisis management skills
-
You have a strategic and analytical mindset with strong planning and prioritizing skills
-
You understand synergies between owned, paid & earned media
-
You have excellent communication skills, including fluent written and spoken English. Knowledge in other languages is meriting.

You are an excellent relationship builder.

Fluent in Microsoft Office – Word, Powerpoint and Excel

Proven track record in creating movement in brand perception through PR & communications activities.
-
Deep knowledge and experience of working with local media (fashion & corporate). Having a good network with journalists, stylists and influencers is an advantage.

Meriting if experience in working with strategic communication towards multiple countries.

Previous experience from managing teams in a competitive environment is a given.

Experience in being a part of senior management team, ensuring strong collaboration and integration of communication

Experienced buyer of media, event and creative services.
