ECS is seeking a PowerPlatform Developer to work remotely.
ECS is seeking a Power Platform developer with a strong background in Power Bi specifically to support a migration or rebuild of SSRS reports and legacy Power Bi dashboards into modernized online dashboards and paginated reports. This work will require complex analysis on how to best integrate new data sources and provide recommendations on how to adapt data architectures to best suit the specific visualizations and dashboards the project requires. This role is ideal for someone who considers themselves a PowerBI SME, understands data modeling and transformation within the Power Platform ecosystem, and can independently troubleshoot and modernize existing reports. A successful candidate will also have experience with guiding non-technical stakeholders in their process and how to optimize the analytical outcome of specific report requirements.
Job Responsibilities
- Review and understand existing PowerBI dashboards, datasets, and data models
- Modify, enhance, and create PowerBI visualizations to meet evolving business requirements
- Connect PowerBI dashboards to new/updated data sources
- Support access and permissions within the PowerBI dashboard space
- Work with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements for the new dashboards and document updates
Salary Range: $130,000 - $140,000

Preferred Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years of experience with PowerBI development
- Strong understanding of data modeling concepts
- Ability integrate data from multiple sources (e.g., SharePoint lists, CSV, APIs, etc.)
- Knowledge of the full Power Platform suite, particularly PowerBI, PowerApps, and Power Automate
- Understanding of data visualization principles and UX best practices for dashboards
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to translate functional requirements into technical requirements
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
