We are seeking an experienced PowerApps Developer to join our client team to design and build a lightweight, user-friendly application using Microsoft PowerApps. This role will be responsible for assessing business requirements, designing the user interface, building the application end-to-end, and overseeing distribution and licensing for end users as per the business requirements. They will work with a Data Engineer to build source tables in Azure/Fabric.
The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience with PowerApps, understands its capabilities and limitations, and can build an effective, maintainable solution.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and functional needs
- Design a clean, intuitive, and efficient user interface using PowerApps
- Build and configure the PowerApps application, including:
- Forms, screens, and navigation
- Data connections (e.g., SharePoint, Dataverse, SQL, Excel, APIs as applicable)
- Business logic, validations, and workflows
- Ensure the app is performant, scalable (within PowerApps limits), and user-friendly
- Document design decisions, limitations, and recommended best practices
- Test the application and support user acceptance testing (UAT)
- Provide guidance or recommendations for future enhancements if PowerApps constraints are identified
- Proven experience developing applications using Microsoft PowerApps (Canvas Apps preferred)
- Strong understanding of Power Platform capabilities and limitations
- Experience designing lightweight user interfaces focused on usability and efficiency
- Familiarity with common PowerApps data sources (SharePoint, Dataverse, SQL, etc.)
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical constraints to non-technical stakeholders
- Experience with Power Automate integrations
- Knowledge of basic UI/UX design principles
- Experience documenting solution architecture and app designs
- A fully functional PowerApps application meeting business requirements
- Documentation outlining:
- App design and structure
- Identified PowerApps limitations and workarounds
- Recommendations for future improvements or alternative solutions if needed
