General Information:
Hitachi Energy Transformers Business Unit is seeking a Controls Engineers in Power2 Engineering Development Program. The program offers you an accelerated professional growth, obtained through engineering technical training over 18-months period and 6-months optional rotation in other business functions like Marketing, Supply Chain, Project Management, Operations etc. It offers tailored and robust curriculum, with diverse project assignments that delivers a visible and significant contribution to your learning and transformer components business.
This role will be located at Crystal Springs, MS during training period. You will get an opportunity of learning the Engineering Product design skills and processes end to end, with the goal of supporting the manufacturing at Crystal Springs, MS.
Your Responsibilities:
- Learn about the Transformers & Components business, products portfolio, manufacturing industry, and operations including business functions.
- Take ownership of your learnings and complete engaging projects within the assignment timeframe and engage with supervisors and mentors to develop your technical and leadership skills.
- Challenge yourself to drive change and deliver outcomes through your contributions in your action learning project each rotation.
- You will work on projects that broaden your skillset and participate in professional development activities.
- Collaborate - You will work in a collaborative environment that encourages all voices to share their unique perspectives and fuel innovation.

Your Background:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical / electronics / electromechanical / aerospace engineering with two (2) or more years of industry experience. (Intern and Co-op experience will be considered.)
- Candidate must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
- Interest in the energy industry and manufacturing sectors.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- AutoCAD Electrical, 2D or 3D modeling software skills is plus.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving & communication (verbal & written) skills.
- Self-motivated and effective collaborator.
- Willing to relocate for few months in the factory environment –relocation assistance is provided.
