In this hardware system engineering role, you will interface with customers to define power products, IC requirements, and system specifications, generate validation plans, and develop reference designs to ensure robust integration of 48V IBC in server, telecom, and industrial systems. You will drive cross-functional teams to deliver differentiated, highly integrated power solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct market analysis and define power products and specifications for the 48V IBC market
- Collaborate with customers, sales, product marketing, applications, design, and validation teams to define architecture and specifications
- Define IC requirements (e.g., controller, driver, power stage) aligned with system needs
- Design and develop proof‑of‑concepts, validation platforms, and reference designs
- Investigate and validate advanced 48V DC/DC and integrated solutions
- Develop simulation models, calculators, and datasheets for product release
- Perform system-level analysis (power integrity, thermal performance, fault response)
- Create application notes and reference designs for real-world use cases
- BS or above in Electrical/Electronic Engineering with 5+ years’ experience
- Strong expertise in power electronics (DC-DC converters)
- Good understanding of power topologies, control loop theory, and stability analysis
- Experience in IC definition and system integration
- Hands-on experience with PCB schematic/layout and CAD tools
- Familiarity with simulation tools (PSpice, SIMPLIS, etc.)
- Strong skills in lab debugging and validation
- Experience developing technical collateral (datasheets, user guides, training materials)
