As a Power Project Manager, the individual will be responsible for coordinating, scheduling, and approvals for all power reconfiguration and installation efforts. In this role, the Power Project Manager will be responsible for ensuring that all power-related contractual deliverables are being achieved, and that LCRs, power reconfigurations, and new deployments are being addressed according to the government's scheduling requirements.
This position will be required to work nights and weekends, a minimum of once monthly

Responsibilities
- Leads team of 3 individuals to ensure the success of the power reconfiguration, deployment, and monitoring of all rack-mounted UPS
- Supports all authorized power-related outages and efforts, to include onsite participation
- Opens ASIs bridge lines during outages, coordinating with the internal contract team and other relevant stakeholders, such as the Network Teams to ensure that all outages are managed successfully, with minimal impacts
- Ensures that customer communications are disseminated prior to each outage. This also includes coordination with end-users to ensure proposed outage dates meet customer requirements
- Physically supports the installation, lifecycle refresh, and decommission of rack-mounted UPS units and NICs as needed to support the project team. This includes after hours (10PM-6AM) and weekends
- Utilizes ServiceNow to submit Requests, Incidents, and Change tickets as needed to ensure that all efforts are being tracked. This includes regular updates of the Remedy tickets
- Coordinates with J VIP customers in their residence to inventory, install, replace, and decommission rack-mounted UPS and NICs
- Works directly with government leadership and other contract leads for buy-in on all efforts and changes
- Manages supply chain of rack-mounted UPS, to include coordination with the UPS supplier. As part of this task, the individual must properly manage storage spaces, and ensure that all areas are organized for effective deployment
- Oversees the inventories and asset management of all rack-mounted UPS currently deployed within the environment. This includes planning and scheduling regular inventories, submission of the inventory information to the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) administrator
- Implements a quality assessment/quality control program to ensure that all infrastructure changes, including installation/lifecycle refresh/decommission of rack-mounted UPS and NICs are made in alignment with both DoD and JSP best practices
- Creates and retrieves reports on a weekly, monthly, and annual basis to show progress of efforts. This also includes submission of monthly contractual deliverables - Survey/Inventory and Power Infrastructure Change Progress reports
- Performs other tasks as required by OSC and the Government contracting office
Required Qualifications/Education and Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Prior hands-on Team Lead/Management experience related to technical network and infrastructure
- Previous hands-on experience using MS Project and/or other scheduling tools
- Must have experience navigating change and configuration management processes
- Must be able to be available to work evenings and weekends to support Authorized Service Interruption (ASIs) - at least 1 weekend/month
- Ability to confidently coordinate projects and respond to government taskings with minimal supervision
- Ability to anticipate problems & take decisive action
- Previous work experience within federal government and/or DoD environment
- Prior hands-on experience using SharePoint
- Ability to lift items weighing up to 75 pounds
- Must be able to operate government owned vehicles and have a safe driving record
- Must have and maintain a Top-Secret personnel clearance and must be eligible for SCI
Preferred Qualifications/Education and Experience
- Security+ Certification preferred, but not required
