Job Description
Power Platform Developer
Rockwell is looking for an all-rounder Power Platform Developer to join an agile team to build and support the ongoing enterprise Power platform solutions. We are looking for someone who is well versed in Agile practices. This person should be customer focused and have experience meeting the demands of enterprise customers. Additionally, they have practical expertise in Microsoft technologies, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Azure SQL Server, and analytics.

Position Summary:
The Power Platform developer is responsible for understanding, designing, implementing and maintaining power platform solutions that the organization will use globally. able to guide the junior members in the team on all aspects of application development.
Passionate about understanding existing Power Platform solutions. open to learning new technology stacks, hands-on experience building an end-to-end complex Power Apps application. This experience should demonstrate expertise in Power Automate, Power BI, SharePoint Lists, and SQL Server. Experience with Microsoft Power Platform components, including Power App, Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse. You should also be flexible to work on multiple areas, such as GUI, web front-end, Power Query, Dataverse, and back-end databases like SharePoint Lists and Azure SQL server.
Your Responsibilities:
- Work with subject matter experts to understand existing Power Apps source code and architecture.
- Understand, designing, and implementing power platform solutions. These solutions include Office 365 Power Automate (Flow), Power Apps, and Power BI applications. Additionally, I work with Microsoft SQL server database tables and write SQL queries.
- Gather cross-functional requirements and translate them into practical Power platform solutions.
- Maintain documentation for architecture and source code
- Perform software design using software development fundamentals and processes, debug, test, and deploy software solutions.
- Implement custom solutions that leverage Canvas Apps, Model-Driven Apps and other Office 365 applications and services.
- Collaborate with geographically distributed teams and be able to work closely with product managers, Process owners and relevant Business unit stakeholders
- Contribute to and promote good software engineering practices across the team
- Troubleshoot and resolve system problems and customer issues
- Well versed in Agile practices
The Essentials - You Will Have:
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or any other Engineering or graduates, with concentration in software
The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
- Must have hand of experience of building Office 365 solutions including Power Automate (Flow), Power Apps, Power BI.
- Should have experience using SharePoint List and SQL server as source in developing Power Apps, Flows and PowerBI
- Microsoft Certification in any of the Power Platform technologies
- Strong Power BI skills using SharePoint and SQL server.
- Experience in relational database designing and migration of data into SQL servers using scripts or ETL.
- Experience using Microsoft SQL Server, writing sql queries, SQL database support and maintenance.
- Implement custom solutions that leverage Canvas Apps, Model-Driven Apps and other Office 365 applications and services.
- Knowledge and previous experience working with Dataverse (CDS) would be good to have.
- Should be able to understand and implement complex MS Flows to set up power automate solutions.
- 3+ years of experience in Web development including JSON, XML, HTML would be nice to have
- Experience and familiarity with API consumption in Power Apps/ PowerBI or in any form would nice to have.
- SharePoint Development including Lists, Hub site, Document library is a plus.
