Job Description:

We are looking for a Power Platform Developer with 2–4 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and supporting business applications and automation solutions using Microsoft Power Platform. The ideal candidate should have strong working knowledge of Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, SharePoint, and Microsoft 365 integrations, along with the ability to translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and user-friendly solutions. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Design, develop, and maintain canvas apps and model-driven apps using Microsoft Power Apps. 

  • Build and optimize automated workflows and business process automations using Power Automate. 

  • Work with Dataverse, SharePoint Lists, SQL Server, and other data sources to support application functionality. 

  • Gather and analyze business requirements and convert them into functional technical solutions. 

  • Integrate Power Platform solutions with Microsoft 365 services such as SharePoint, Teams, Outlook, and Excel. 

  • Create reusable components, custom forms, approval workflows, dashboards, and reporting solutions as needed. 

  • Support testing, troubleshooting, deployment, and post-production support for Power Platform applications. 

  • Follow best practices for security, performance, data governance, and application lifecycle management. 

  • Prepare technical documentation, user guides, and solution handover documents. 

  • Collaborate with business users, functional teams, and technical teams to deliver high-quality solutions. 

Required Skills 

  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Apps, including canvas apps and model-driven apps. 

  • Strong experience in Power Automate cloud flows, approvals, scheduled flows, and business process automation. 

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Dataverse, SharePoint Online, and Microsoft 365 ecosystem. 

  • Basic to intermediate understanding of Power BI dashboards and reporting is preferred. 

  • Experience with connectors, custom connectors, REST APIs, and integration with external systems. 

  • Good understanding of data modeling, tables, relationships, forms, views, and security roles. 

  • Knowledge of basic scripting or development concepts such as JavaScript, Power Fx, JSON, and SQL. 

  • Familiarity with solution packaging, deployment, environment management, and ALM practices. 

  • Ability to troubleshoot application issues, flow failures, permissions, and data connectivity problems. 

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills. 

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline. 

  • 2–4 years of relevant experience in Microsoft Power Platform development. 

  • Experience working in Agile or iterative delivery environments is preferred. 

  • Prior experience supporting business users and delivering low-code/no-code solutions is desirable. 

Preferred Certifications 

  • Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Fundamentals (PL-900) 

  • Microsoft Certified: Power Platform App Maker Associate (PL-100) 

  • Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Functional Consultant Associate (PL-200) 

  • Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate (PL-400) is an added advantage 

Good to Have 

  • Exposure to Copilot Studio or Power Virtual Agents. 

  • Basic understanding of Azure services, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, or API Management. 

  • Experience with Power Platform Center of Excellence concepts, governance, and environment strategy. 

  • Understanding of security, compliance, data loss prevention policies, and role-based access controls. 

  • Experience in building reusable templates, components, and enterprise-grade automation solutions. 

Selection Criteria 

  • Demonstrated experience in building Power Apps and Power Automate solutions for real business use cases. 

  • Ability to explain technical design, data sources, connectors, and deployment approach clearly. 

  • Strong problem-solving ability through scenario-based Power Platform questions. 

  • Practical knowledge of Dataverse, SharePoint, security permissions, and flow troubleshooting. 

  • Good communication skills and ability to interact with business stakeholders independently. 

  • Willingness to learn emerging Microsoft technologies, including AI-assisted automation and Copilot capabilities.
