Job Description:
A Power Platform developer is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing solutions using Microsoft Power Platform tools, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Power Virtual Agents. They work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions that enhance business processes and productivity.
Responsibilities:
· Design and develop custom business applications using Power Apps (canvas and model-driven), Power Automate for workflow automation, and Power BI for data visualization and reporting.
· Build reusable components, custom controls, and Power Fx logic to enhance application functionality and maintainability.
· Develop and deploy chatbots using Power Virtual Agents.
· Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical solutions.
· Integrate Power Platform solutions with other Microsoft services and third-party applications.
· Maintain and update existing Power Platform solutions.
· Configure and manage Microsoft Data-verse for data storage, security, and relational data modeling.
Requirements
Qualifications:
· Proven experience with Microsoft Power Platform tools (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Power Virtual Agents).
· Strong understanding of data modeling, database design, and SQL.
· Experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud services.
· Knowledge of programming languages such as JavaScript, C#, and .NET.
· Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Skills:
· Advanced proficiency in Power Apps (canvas and model-driven), Power Automate, Power BI, and Microsoft Dataverse.
· Experience with integration technologies (e.g., REST APIs, OData, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions).
· Proficiency in Power Fx, JavaScript, or C# for custom development and scripting in Power Platform.
· Familiarity with Azure services (e.g., Azure DevOps, Azure API Management) for application lifecycle management and integration.
Certifications (Preferred):
- Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate (PL-400).
- Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Functional Consultant Associate (PL-200).
Skills Required
- 4 to 7 years of experience as a Power Platform Developer
- Proven experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Power Virtual Agents
- Advanced proficiency in Power Fx
- Configure and manage Microsoft Dataverse for data storage, security, and relational modeling
- Strong understanding of data modeling, database design, and SQL
- Experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud services
- Knowledge of JavaScript, C#, and .NET
