Company

Jefferies, the global investment banking firm, has served companies and investors for almost 60 years. Headquartered in New York with its European head office in London, the firm provides clients with capital markets and financial advisory services, institutional brokerage and securities research, and asset management. Jefferies provides research and execution services in equity, fixed income, foreign exchange, and a full range of investment banking services including underwriting, merger & acquisition, restructuring and recapitalisation and other advisory services, with businesses operating in the Americas, Europe and Asia.

Role Overview

Jefferies is seeking a hands-on Power Platform and Copilot Specialist to support the delivery, adoption and operation of low-code automation and AI-enabled solutions across the firm. The role will work with business and technology stakeholders to turn practical requirements into secure, maintainable solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse and Copilot Studio.

This is a mid-level delivery role for someone who can build and support solutions, communicate clearly with users, and work effectively within enterprise access, data-protection and change controls. The successful candidate does not need to be an expert across every Microsoft AI service; deeper platform, security and compliance specialists will remain available for complex areas.

Key Responsibilities

Power Platform solution delivery:

  • Design, build, test and support Power Apps, Power Automate workflows, Power BI solutions and Dataverse-backed applications
  • Work with stakeholders to understand business processes, clarify requirements and recommend practical solution approaches
  • Build structured intake, approval, notification and operational workflows that reduce repetitive manual activity
  • Improve existing solutions based on user feedback, operational findings and changing business requirements

Copilot Studio and AI-enabled solutions:

  • Create, configure, test and support Copilot Studio agents for clearly defined business and technology use cases
  • Ground agents on approved SharePoint, Microsoft 365 or Dataverse content and connect agents to approved workflow actions
  • Apply appropriate instructions, human-review points, escalation paths and safe failure behaviour
  • Assist with evaluating new Copilot Studio and Power Platform AI capabilities and recommend whether to adopt, pilot or wait

Integration, release and operational support:

  • Integrate solutions with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, SQL and approved enterprise services using standard connectors, APIs or custom connectors where appropriate
  • Use managed solutions, connection references, environment variables and deployment pipelines across development, test and production
  • Support UAT, production releases, monitoring, incident investigation and post-release improvements
  • Troubleshoot common issues involving connectors, permissions, gateways, service accounts and data quality, coordinating with specialist teams when required

Governance, adoption and stakeholder engagement:

  • Work within established environment, DLP, access-control, data-handling and change management standards
  • Maintain clear solution documentation, support notes, runbooks and release records.
  • Provide demonstrations, learning content, office-hours support and practical guidance for users and citizen developers
  • Use adoption, support and process measures to help determine whether solutions are delivering value
  • Collaborate with globally distributed business, infrastructure, security, data and support teams

Required Skills and Experience

  • Relevant experience in Power Platform, business applications or Microsoft 365 solution delivery
  • Hands-on experience with Power Apps and Power Automate, with working knowledge of Power BI and Dataverse
  • Practical Copilot Studio experience, or strong Power Platform experience with recent evidence of building and testing AI agents
  • Experience gathering requirements and translating business needs into maintainable technical solutions
  • Understanding of solution testing, UAT, deployment and production support
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft 365 services such as SharePoint Online, Teams and Outlook in the context of business solutions
  • Clear written and verbal communication, with the ability to explain technical topics to non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently on assigned deliverables while escalating risks and specialist issues appropriately

Desirable Experience

  • Experience in financial services or another regulated enterprise
  • Experience with SQL, REST APIs, Microsoft Graph, custom connectors or on-premises data gateways
  • Exposure to Power Platform desktop flows, Azure DevOps, source control or Power Platform CL
  • Awareness of Microsoft Purview, Information Barriers, Entra ID application registrations, service principals or Azure AI services
  • Experience creating user guidance, delivering training or supporting an internal maker community
  • Microsoft certification such as PL-200 or PL-400; equivalent practical experience will also be considered
  • A degree in computer science, information technology, engineering or related discipline is desirable. Equivalent professional experience and demonstrated delivery capability will also be considered
