Power Platform Agentic Engineer

Purpose
Do you have a passion for creating custom solutions that solve real business problems? Do you enjoy collaborating with other developers, supporting citizen developers and experimenting with AI tools such as Copilot Studio and AI Foundry? As part of our AI Centre of Excellence, you will promote best practices for using Power Platform and Agentic tools across the enterprise. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, mentor and assist citizen developers, and experiment with AI tools such as Copilot Studio and AI Foundry.

Key Accountabilities
Design, develop, and implement solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Copilot Studio and Azure AI Foundry
Work within a multidisciplinary Centre of Excellence, deploying best practice, providing guidance to others and ensuring adherence to the governance model
Form collaborative project teams with operational and business stakeholders
Conduct unit testing and facilitate user acceptance testing to ensure quality and usability
Support issue resolution and problem solving in conjunction with Infrastructure and Help Desk teams as well as third parties
Collaborate with other developers, analysts, and business units to optimise and enhance capabilities
Stay up-to-date with the latest updates and features of Microsoft Power Platform and Agentic AI Tooling
Examples of Key Activities
Deliver solutions from inception through to production
Analysis of pipeline applications and agents
Creation of process documentation
Build, test and rollout solutions
Maintain and review the production estate
Test solutions built by other team members
Provide knowledge support to other team members
Promote best practice and support Citizen Developers
What We're Looking for
Strong experience with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Copilot Studio), plus a good understanding of Azure and Microsoft 365 services.
Ability to develop and integrate APIs and RESTful services, with working knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
Experience applying project methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or PRINCE2.
Strong problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to quickly understand end‑to‑end business processes.
Clear and collaborative communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a reactive, hands‑on environment.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Willingness to learn and continuously improve; experience with AI Foundry is a bonus.
Educated to A‑level standard with the requisite Power Platform training.
