Power BI - Supply Chain Reporting Trainee
(Part-time Trainee Position)
We are looking for a motivated university student for Power BI position within our Wood Products division team in Ostrava.
In this role, you will support our team by preparing and maintaining supply chain reports and documentation, assisting with SAP PM/MM processes, and ensuring data quality and integrity.
As a trainee, you will work 20 hours per week during the period from June to November 2025 while continuing your studies.
You will receive ongoing support from your team and senior colleagues and become part of a trainee community in Ostrava, where students support each other, share experiences, and build valuable connections in an international work environment.
You will be located in Ostrava, Czechia and report to Senior Manager WP Applications.
Key responsibilities:
SAP MM/PM Reporting Support: Assist in managing and optimizing SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) and Materials Management (MM) Supply Chain processes to enhance operational efficiency. Generate, analyse and maintain accurate reports related to inventory management, procurement activities, and maintenance operations.
Data Quality Assurance: Ensure accuracy and consistency in reporting data, perform quality checks, and support corrective actions as required.
Documentation: Maintain up-to-date process documentation and reporting guidelines, ensuring that documentation is accurate, comprehensive, and easily accessible.
Continuous Learning: Participate actively in training sessions to enhance your understanding of SAP PM/MM modules and reporting tools. Keep up-to-date with best practices and developments within the field.
Qualifications:
Currently pursuing a university degree in IT or Business.
Familiarity or willingness to learn reporting and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI).
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Proactive attitude and willingness to learn new technologies.
Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
Proficiency in English (B2 level or higher).
Additional skills that will help you succeed in this role:
Understanding of SAP MM/PM or supply chain processes is a plus.

We offer this position for the period of 6 months.
