Job Description:
Position Overview: The Power BI Subject Matter Expert (SME) will be responsible for providing expert-level guidance and support in the development, implementation, and optimization of Power BI solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of Power BI, data visualization, and business intelligence best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Provide expert advice on Power BI capabilities and best practices.
- Conduct training sessions and workshops for customers, end-users, and team members.
- Optimize Power BI solutions for performance and scalability.
- Stay updated with the latest Power BI features and updates.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Power BI reports and dashboards.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all Power BI solutions.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Power BI SME or similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and data modeling.
- Strong understanding of data visualization principles and best practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with SQL, data warehousing, and other BI tools is a plus.
- Master's degree in a related field.
- Power BI certification.
